  • I’ve heard the words “manage” or “control” used in reference to emotions, and feel my approach sees emotions as helpful messengers that our body sends to help us learn.  For me, emotions that are balanced and in harmony, are stable, peaceful and even joyful.
  • Our thoughts are a strong indicator of what our emotional system is like.  For instance, if we have layers of negative thoughts about feeling a failure, inadequate, stupid and scared, we can expect to have emotions related to sadness, grief, fear leading to depressive behaviors.
  • So with that being said, the best way to work with our emotions is to acknowledge first what you are feeling, notice if you move to distract, repress, project & blame others or sink into yourself.  Listen to the thoughts related to your reactions and write them down.  Learn methods to calm your body and then learn about those thoughts and how to clear & heal the part of you that believes them.
  • Oh yes, and I’ve been guilty of this as well.  There is often a need to be heard or to be right.  The stronger the disagreement, usually the stronger the pain the person is feeling over the perception of separation.  So know that it is never about your disagreement over a subject.  People can disagree and not have massive blow ups.  It is about the pain of not being seen and acknowledged or a fear that possibly something will happen if the person does not understand.
  •  I remember learning the 5th habit from Stephen Covey’s book, “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” Seek first to understand, then to be understood.
  • What Covey suggests is that when we set our agenda aside, we take the energy of resistance away.  We are then able to bridge to the other person, and typically, once someone feels understood, they tend to be open to what you have to say. We are all wounded in ways that often come up around little things and when we have never learned how to express our needs, we can appear to be fierce over what we have to say.
    • I will add that if you find that you are doing this consistently for another and that person doesn’t ever shift to understand your point of view, you may be dealing with more of a personality issue and that’s another issue.
  • The 4 main subtle energy bodies are energy fields that surround our physical body.  The goal is for these energy bodies to be balanced, each holding 25% of the field.  This brings a feeling of calm, thoughts that are clear of negativity and most importantly worthiness and love for all.
  • Physical/Etheric – (masculine, Earth, Archangel Uriel)
  • Emotional/Astral – (feminine, Water, Archangel Gabriel)
  • Mental/Causal- (masculine, Air, Archangel Raphael), the container of your thoughts & belief systems which sorts and defines all experiences.  They upload to the database
  • Spiritual – (feminine)
  • There are many journal articles that have been written related to the countless studies on energy and consciousness that create a powerful case for the existence of the energy bodies and energy centers (aka Chakras).  This information is not taught in medical schools.  In fact, the entire system is based solely on Newtonian Physics which is true but not the full picture.  Quantum Physics teaches us about the invisible realm and how we are able to direct the Life Force energies to shift the physical.
  • The mind is your thoughts and beliefs.  Our thoughts vibrate as electromagnetic frequency and by attaining the ability to hold a higher frequency, we can direct it to shift the matter in the physical.  In short, it is our beliefs that actually affect our world around us.  This has been used by sports psychologists to help athletes attain feats that were previously considered to be impossible.  Another example is the placebo effect in which people who believe they received medication to help their body actually get better even though they ingested a sugar pill.
  • There are scientific journal articles that have been written related to the countless studies on energy and consciousness.  Finding a reputable source on YouTube channels that can break down this research into an understandable one creates a powerful case for the existence of the energy bodies and energy centers (aka Chakras).
  • Quantum physics is the study of the invisible realm which is also referred to as the etheric realm.  It can be integrated with spirituality as it proves there is a governing intelligent force that is guiding those that are able to connect to higher states of consciousness.  Quantum physics addresses the smallest of particles that are vibrations of light.  What has been one of the most powerful findings with quantum physics is the research showing that when the mind and heart are in coherence we are able to tap into higher states of consciousness and affect matter with our thought system.
  • Working with the energy field surrounding our body can be a powerful and faster way to shift physical and emotional issues.  Once you have developed the understanding about energy and how it governs the physical, then learning how to achieve a state of oneness with Source becomes a spiritual journey that allows you to transcend many of the material realms laws.  In many ways Yeshua/Jesus was referring to the power of this energy as he spoke of his Father and of God.  Your Faith is what is the biggest determining success of connecting to the Energy Field, one thing he mentioned many times.  Prayer, meditation and shadow work are essential to use the energy to shift powerful belief systems and trauma held emotions.
